Today Staalsy figured out how to get under my bed. We freaked out because we weren't sure if he was sick or if he was ok. He was under there for 6 or so hours and when he came out, he was perfectly fine. We had a serious heart to heart about scaring the crap out of me that ended in some kisses.
Not a whole lot to report today as he spent most of it being a twit. I do have an adorable picture of him:
Additionally I have a video of Staalsy and his beloved catnip. I took it with my phone so it's kinda meh, but you get the idea of how adorable he is:
Seeking out "Yesterday's News" cat litter is proving to be difficult, but his paws don't seem to be getting litter stuck to them like yesterday. I'll go to our local pet store tomorrow and check there. I thought about shredding up newspaper but apparently we have none.

aww don't you hate it when they scare you? one of my cats went missing one day. We looked EVERYWHERE. Behind the couch, under the tables, UNDER the couch and armchairs, under the beds, in the laundry room, in the pantry, in the closets, where we kept our towels, in the cubbard, EVERYWHERE. We couldn't find her. We were freaking out. Did she find a way to go outside? She's declawed! We kept calling her name (and normally she meows when you say her name) but then nothing. We gave her food, opened a can of tuna, she wouldn't turn up. At one point I was in tears, thinking of her outside, being attacked and unable to defend herself. My roommate and I cried like babies.
ReplyDeleteThen, 2 hours later, I see her coming out of my room, right as rain, as if nothing was amiss. She meowed at me when I picked her up to scold her and then gave her a million kisses. To this day, I still don't know where she was hiding but she gave us quite a fright lol

Sometimes I think they enjoy watching you freak out. "If they really care about me, they'll go on a mad hunt for me as I just chill somewhere they'll never find me. ahahaha" and then they twirl their kitty mustaches.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find him in the living room the other day. I had all the doors leading to other rooms closed & there aren't many great hiding spots in the living room. I looked and looked, still couldn't find him. While waiting, I went to remove bubblewrap from my giant box of it and there he was. I have no idea how he got into said box, but there he was.
Cats: they enjoy watching you freak out.
